ABOUT US
Archaeology has uncovered signs of civilisations dating back thousands of years
within the United Kingdom. Some of the UK’s past such as Stonehenge is
clearly visible, however a lot has been lost in the passage of time and the
rest buried underneath present day towns and cities. Although the physical reminders
of the past can no longer be seen there are still unexplained sightings of people
long forgotten. Probably the most famous of these places is York with its ghostly
sightings of Roman Soldiers but many other places throughout the UK are reputedly
haunted.
Burton on Trent in Staffordshire, which is known throughout the world for its
production of beer, is no exception. Chris and Tracey Campbell-Brown have spent
over three years researching some of the history and hauntings in this Staffordshire
town. During their research they managed to find in excess of 100 confirmed
ghost sightings the details of some of them are told on the Burton on Trent
Ghost Walks. Isabella or Chris will guide you through the haunted streets of
Burton.
