BURTON WILDLIFE RESCUE
Burton Wildlife Rescue and animal centre is located in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire and provides a 24 hour emergency rescue for ill, injured and orphaned wildlife in the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas. We also take in and rehome abandoned and unwanted domestic small animals. Our aims are:
· To rescue, treat and rehabilitate ill, injured and orphaned wildlife in the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas.
· To educate the public by means of school visits, educational talks and open days about our native wildlife and our impact upon habitats that support these animals.
· To provide a temporary home for abandoned and unwanted domestic animals until a suitable new home can be found.
· To promote responsible pet ownership
· To work with local veterinary surgeons and other wildlife charities ensuring, where possible, all wildlife is returned to its natural environment.
We also respond to calls out of our covered area if an emergency and no other help can be sought. These have included nottingham and birmingham. We offer wildlife advice to people all over the country.
